In this training series participants will learn the ABCs of the LGBTQIA+s for organizations that want to ensure equity and affirming spaces. Be ready to learn vocabulary, concepts, and how making assumptions of what “normal” behavior is can impede a sense of belonging for all. This training provides an opportunity to ask questions and understand more about LGBTQIA+ community members. Participants will understand the impact of national polices and rhetoric on the LGBTQIA+ community and how to create a protective and affirming environment.
